Visitor Notice

An important message to all visitors of The Allergy & Free From Show

As organisers of The Allergy & Free From Show, the safety of visitors to this event is our highest priority

To this end, we wish to communicate, with absolute clarity, the critical need for all visitors to take extreme care during their attendance and to place their health (and the health of anyone they are attending with) first at all times.

By acquiring a ticket and attending the event, all show visitors understand and accept the following:

1. The show is not 100% free from any potential allergen or intolerance trigger; all visitors should be prepared for that fact and take the appropriate measures in line with their personal circumstances, including carrying any appropriate medication.

a) The show takes place in a multi-purpose public venue, which hosts a variety of events during every week of every year. Therefore, the venue is as susceptible to any allergen as any other public place, and should be treated with precisely the same degree of caution.

b) The Allergy & Free From Show are designed to be relevant and accessible to people with a wide variety of allergies, intolerances and related conditions. For example, one visitor might be allergic to peanuts, whilst another has no issue with peanuts, yet is allergic to cow’s milk. The exhibitors at the show will reflect the diversity of the visitors. Therefore, there is a strong possibility that there will be products on the show floor that contain the allergen or intolerance trigger that is potentially harmful to any visitor.

2. The organiser’s role is to present visitors with a diverse range of products, treatments and advisory sources (represented in the form of exhibitors, sponsors and content speakers) that are relevant to the show’s theme. All visitors recognise that it is their responsibility to liaise with those products, treatments and advisory sources in a way that is entirely appropriate to their specific health conditions, or the specific health conditions of any person they are attending with. For example, visitors should comprehensively discuss their personal context with an official member of any exhibiting team before trying any product or treatment onsite or post show. As organisers, we take no responsibility for liaisons between exhibitors and visitors, nor for any situation that may occur as a result of those liaisons.

3. All visitors should speak to their GP / Doctor before altering their treatment of any health-related condition or before making a change to their lifestyle in anyway, as a direct of any onsite interaction with any product, treatment or advisory source at the show.

4. Any information, statement and / or advice offered by any exhibitor, sponsor or speaker at the show is not endorsed by the show organisers, nor the event’s partnering organisations. Such information, statement and / or advice is not intended to replace personal advice given by a visitor’s Doctor / GP.

All visitors understand that no one is more acutely aware of their personal conditions than themselves. By acquiring a ticket and attending the event, all show visitors understand and accept this fact(and all the above points) and will resultantly take responsibility for their actions and interactions at this event.

Thank you.
