Migraine Action is a national charity (registered no. 207783) which has been supporting children and adults with migraine for over 50 years. The charity aims to bridge the gap between people affected by migraine and the medical world by providing unbiased information on all aspects of migraine. It raises funds to support specialist migraine clinics and for research into the diagnosis, treatment and cure of migraine and other headache disorders. It has a telephone helpline, numerous leaflets on all aspects of migraine, an in-depth website, and a quarterly members’ newsletter. The charity also runs education days around the country and works to raise awareness amongst the general public about the realities of living with what is still a much-misunderstood condition.
