Full Synopsis:
Mandy East from The Anaphylaxis Campaign explains how to manage a severe food allergy giving special attention to situations such as schools, children’s parties, eating out, holidays and more.
Mandy East has been the National Coordinator for the Anaphylaxis Campaign for the past 7 years and also works for the National Allergy Strategy Group as the Parliamentary Officer coordinating the ongoing campaign to improve NHS allergy services. Both these roles mean she is in regular contact with those who live with allergy day to day as well as the medics who care for them and as a result she is excellently placed to advocate on their behalf. Mandy facilitates support groups and meetings for parents of allergic children as well as for those living with allergy themselves and also travels the country giving much needed information to schools and youth groups on the best way to manage an allergic child.
