Welcome!

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to our all-new show website! I hope you like the layout and design, and that the site provides you with all the information you need to aid your visit to the event in May!

If you’re already a friend of the show, you will have noticed that we have undertaken a subtle, yet exciting rebrand… ‘The Allergy & Gluten Free Show’ has been renamed as ‘The Allergy & Free From Show’.

So, why have we done this?
It’s pretty simple, really. This event has quickly become Europe’s biggest and best public-facing event for people with all kinds of allergies, intolerances, autoimmune diseases (such as Coeliac disease) and chemical sensitivities.

Consequently, the former name, ‘Allergy & Gluten Free Show’, was only telling part of the story; the show was delivering far more than its name suggested! Substituting ‘Gluten Free’ for ‘Free From’ allows us to better communicate what the show is about and who it is for.

Please make no mistake: removing ‘Gluten Free’ from our title does not mean that the show is less relevant to people that lead gluten free lives in any way. In fact, the opposite is true. In 2012, we will be delivering more gluten free relevant exhibitors and show content than ever before, ensuring this is still the premier show for this audience.

Incorporating ‘Free From’ in the title maintains the importance of gluten free to the event (i.e. ‘Free From’… gluten), whilst simultaneously conveying the reality that this is a show already relevant to many other people, living other ‘Free From’ lives (e.g. ‘Free From’… nuts, dairy, eggs, soya, wheat, pet hair, dust mites andpollen, to name just a few!).

Furthermore, ‘Free From’ is undeniably the most commonly used phrase in the UK to describe the process of proactively removing something form our daily lives for reasons of health or lifestyle, so it makes complete sense for it to become part of our show title.

‘The Allergy & Free From Show’ will be everything the event has been in the past, and so much more! We believe this new name better encompasses what the show is, who it’s for, and what we want to be in the future. We hope you agree!
