It's the milk doctor! Can cow's milk cause colic, reflux and constipation? Plus, how to spot it.

Milk is blamed for everything from colic and reflux to diarrhoea and faltering growth. This lecture helps you spot the children who really have a milk allergy from those that don't.

Dr Neil Shah has been a Consultant at Great Ormond Street Hospital since 2001. He was awarded the University of London Medal at Qualification in 1990, Dr Shah has developed an interest in the genetics of rare bowel disorders and more common disorders associated small gene affects such as allergy affecting the gut. He was runner up as Doctor of the Year in 2008 and has a personal interest in allergy with affected members of his own family and also is helping develop national guidelines for food allergy in the UK. He runs a joint clinic with St Thomas Hospital and leads the gastrointestinal services at Great Ormond Street Hospital, a renowned centre for motility disorders of the bowel and this expertise is being applied to the ‘neuroimmune’ disorders associated with food allergy such as reflux, diarrhoea and constipation.
