These workshops are a great opportunity for children to develop their 'free from' cooking skills in a safe and enjoyable environment.
At the workshops on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning we will be making chocolate truffles which will be egg, nut, dairy, gluten free but will use soya. View recipe here
At the workshops on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning we will be making apple caramel shortbread dessert which will be egg, nut, gluten and soya free. View recipe here
Participating children will also get to design and customise their own chef's hat to take home! Suitable for children aged 3 - 10 years, children must be accompanied by a parent.
Crafty Chefs - Background
Nicola and Morag are two mothers who run Crafty Chefs, a cookery company for all children including those with multiple food allergies. They run workshops, cooking parties and have an online shop. They have been successfully inspiring children to cook for a number of years. Nicola has a child with multiple food allergies and has spent a long time devising a number of recipes that can be enjoyed by all children. Morag is passionate about cooking and helping children to learn an essential life skill. See Crafty Chefs on stand number H4 at the show!
Key Details:
- Each session costs £10 per child (price inclusive of two tickets to the show for you and your child).
- Children must be aged between 3 and 10 years.
- All children must be accomanied by an adult.
